Talented young people on The Goldsmiths’ Centre’s Foundation Programme, Postgraduate Professional Design Programme and its Business Start-Up Studios will be joining the winners of The Goldsmiths’ Company’s New Designers Awards 2014 – Clive Taylor, Karen Elizabeth Donovan and Kyosun Jung – in an exhibition of outstanding work. One particular piece to be unveiled will be an 18ct gold pendant designed by Ben Hawkins, a Foundation Programme, and winner of The Catherine Jones of Cambridge Golden Jubilee Competition.
Catherine Jones of Cambridge have announced Ben Hawkins, a student of the Goldsmiths’ Centre as the winner of the Golden Jubilee competition. Ben will have his Cambridge inspired pendant created in 18ct gold and sold in the Catherine Jones of Cambridge shop.
On Wednesday 2 July, 2014 the leading names in the UK retail watch and jewellery industry gathered at the London Hilton on Park Lane to see who would take home this year’s UK Watch and Jewellery Awards. With an astounding shortlist, the judges had their work cut out in picking the most deserving winners.
